Furtive glances, steel-eyed awareness

Inhale. Exhale.

Footsteps pound like a thousand wild mustangs, desperate fugitives of a raging inferno

Inhale. Exhale.

Pulse beats a rapid staccato, finger poised with heavy purpose

Inhale. Exhale.

Acquiescence untenable, hope unquenchable, courage incomparable

Inhale. Exhale.

Memories crash in fervent waves, dreams expire in painful release

Inhale. Exhale.

Well done, good and faithful servant. Well done.
